SUMMER 2026

LACROSSE MASTERS
PARENT SESSIONS

Understand how college recruiting actually works — before you waste time or miss opportunities.

Join us for perspective you won't find anywhere else.

MOST FAMILIES LEAVE CAMP WITH MORE QUESTIONS THAN ANSWERS

At Lacrosse Masters camps, athletes gain valuable exposure to college coaches.

But parents are often left wondering:

  • Will a coach actually help my child get admitted?

  • What schools are realistically possible?

  • How much do grades really matter?

  • Are we behind in the process?

These sessions are designed to answer those questions clearly, honestly, and without the guesswork.

Parents who attend leave with:

  • A clear understanding of how recruiting and admissions work together

  • Realistic expectations about competitiveness and opportunities

  • Insight into what coaches can—and cannot—influence

  • Guidance on how to support their student without adding pressure

WHAT MAKES THIS DIFFERENT

Most families hear from coaches only OR from college counselors without athletic context.

We bring both together.

Nationally recognized college counselors Arun Ponnusamy and Chelsea Harder
are joined by Coach Mike Silipo, bringing insights from the world of admissions and collegiate athletics. This series focuses on the whole student—not just recruiting outcomes.

MAKE THE MOST OF YOUR
LACROSSE MASTERS EXPERIENCE

These Parent Education Sessions will be offered at the
June 9 Girls Camp (Farmington Sports Arena), June 10 Boys Camp (Loomis Chaffee School),
July 14-15 Girls Camp (St. George's School), July 27-29 Boys Camp (St. George's School).

MORNING SESSION: BUILDING A STRONG FOUNDATION

Throughout high school, families often feel pulled between encouraging athletic ambition and nurturing academic opportunity. The challenge is not choosing one over the other. Instead, it’s understanding how they develop together over time.

LUNCHTIME SESSION:
IVY, NESCAC & SELECTIVE COLLEGES

At the most selective colleges, athletic ability can open conversations–but admission is still shaped by academic standards and institutional priorities. Many families hear fragments of information about “support,” “bands,” or “slots” without fully understanding how those pieces fit together.

AFTERNOON SESSION:
THE JUNIOR YEAR
PLAYBOOK

Junior year is a turning point for student athletes. Whether presented with an offer in the fall or leveling up off the field, we'll discuss key considerations for 11th grade. Parents will gain an understanding of the ways students can make the most of this critical year of high school.
